As of 7 /23/20 Our Governor has asked that everyone wear a mask in Church services. This is a request and not a requirement law.
Dear McComb Family,
We remain vigil and in a heightened state of awareness to the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. We want to remind everyone that our facility is cleaned weekly. This includes door knobs and light switches. We want to assure our family and community that we are taking responsible precautions to help provide a safe and sanitary environment for people to meet and worship.
We also understand that each family has specific needs and concerns that need to be considered. Your family might not be at a high risk for any type of sickness or disease posed by this virus. However, some in our larger family are. As a result, out of deep love and concern, we are going to change a few things we normally do, so that we can reduce unnecessary risk for all. For example: We are changing how we administer communion and offering. (We will explain this process later when services resume.) We have many families with babies, elderly, as well as extended family members who are in the midst of exceptional health struggles. We love each other so much that we’re going to be especially mindful of every unique circumstance and make choices that limit unnecessary risk.
Out of an abundance of caution, if anyone in your family has been diagnosed with an illness or is running an active fever; please take this time to stay home and get better. I will try very hard to upload the sermon, the day it is preached, so that members can listen online and not miss out.
We are not going to live in fear! Rather, we will be wise and proactive, as we take reasonable precautions to care for our larger community of believers. From my family to yours; We love you and your family. Please know, we are praying for your health, our Community, Country and World; as we all are being affected in this time. May God be honored as we obey Him by loving one another as He loves us.
Blessed only to bless, Pastor Jeff
