"All of you together are Christ's body, and each of you is a part of it."
1 Corinthians 12:27 NLT "Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all." Ephesians 4:3-6 NIV |
The First Step Do you believe that Jesus is the Christ, Savior and Lord? The journey begins here. We believe this is the most important question you will answer in your lifetime. (Matthew 16:16 & Philippians 2:10) What is Church membership and why should I join? Church membership is not about services you get by joining our congregation (common misconception). Joining a Church is about the services we are able to provide "to others" because of what each of us brings collectively to Christ's table of service. Together, we can do what would otherwise be impossible apart. Our focus is not about you, or even us (inward focus); but rather what Christ will do with and through us as His Church. Put simply, the Church is about Christ in us reaching lovingly through us to those who will one day be with us in eternity (outward focus).
How do I join? Joining really isn't hard. Every immersed believer who has placed their trust in Christ is a member of Christ's Church. A person who has fulfilled this step is eligible to join our local Church. You can do this a number of ways. You can simply come forward at the close of any service through the week. Simply, approach any one of our leadership team and we will help you make this next step. You can also contact us through the week by calling our office. We would love to talk with you about this and any other questions you have regarding our Church. |
